After giving my life to Christ I sought out representations of biblical women online, but didn’t resonate with the current mold: Pinterest-worthy Trad-Wife. Here I’m sharing my experiences living as Christian woman: reflections on marriage, writing fiction that honors God without falling into cliché, balancing Bible study while going back to school, working in a male-dominated industry without losing my femininity, Bible resources and just things that make me happy 🙂

Growth isn’t linear and neither is my spiritual journey. On my path towards healing I made a lot of mistakes along the way. Although I wish it didn’t take me so long to surrender to God, I am beyond grateful for the miracles He has blessed me with in my life. The Holy Spirit anointed me with the gift of words, writing, and expression. I intend to create and share here to help you along your own faith journey.

Curious and cerebral at her core, the Woman in Progress has always been fascinated with storytelling: both the stories we tell others and the stories we tell ourselves.
